I'm pretty sure there were no options when I ordered mine. I just ordered split mono.

Looks good. What width are the rims? I ran my 28 x 10.5's on a 8 inch rim. I am now trying to stuff the M/T 275 Pro Radial under mine with a 10" rim.

    Hey Mike,

What type of the Calvert shocks are you running? What I'm getting at is what mounting end types do you have? Did you mount in original locations or are they straight up and down with relocated shock mounts? I just ordered a set of the split mono springs, but am going back and forth on whether to go with Calvert shocks, or a set of AFCO double adjustables. Not really excited about dropping another $800+ on shocks if I don't have to...and it looks like the Calverts work just fine for you lol!

Max it came with brackets that replace the stock lower mounts but retain the same location. My kit came with Rancho adjustable shocks.

Thank you Sir! They don't list them for Mavericks anymore on their site, so I wasn't sure if you did something special or not. I'll give them a call this afternoon and see what I can come up with. I appreciate the help.

I relocated my shocks and are running QA1's. The shocks only cost about $150 each and have been working out so far.

I called and talked to Travis today at Calvert, and he said that shocks for our cars have to be special made because it's not a common option to have an eye at the top, and the "stiletto" type of bottom. He said they can modify the shocks, and it's about $35 each. We can also just order shocks with eyes on both ends, but would have to buy separate mount plates . I think that's the option I'm going to go with, as it'd be easier to get a replacement shock in a pinch lol. I actually got part numbers, but I need to call him back tomorrow. I can't remember if I told him I'd changed the rear to a 9" or not. I should have part numbers after I speak with him tomorrow though, and I'll post them then.

Hi Ray...that is my other option if I don't go with Calvert's shocks. There are a lot of people running their stuff that have had no issues whatsoever. What are your 60's like with your setup?

I might need to start another thread lol...didn't have any intentions of hijacking this one!

20150101_184039.jpg 20150101_184101.jpg 20150122_204742.jpg Here is some pics of my setup. I used the Calvert racing adjustable shock with the replacement plates. According to John at Calvert, almost all of the racing shocks use a round eye on the bottom vs. a spade like the factory shocks. You can order the replacement spring plates that have provisions for the racing shocks. He sent me these with the heavy duty u bolts for my 9 inch. This is a much more sturdy setup in my opinion.

Awesome! Looks like the route I'm going to go. You don't still have the part numbers for the plates do you? Might save me a call tomorrow lol.

Oh...what leaf springs are you running?
