Nice improvements! Any updates?

 

A good bit was done after getting the body put back together, all new brake lines ran. Master cylinder, steering column, pedal assembly, and dash all installed. New locks all the way around and I got the motor and transmission for the car....unfortunately they're sitting infront of the car right now due to the car being away for the winter but hoping that it will be running and moving under its own power for the first time in 9 years before the end of this summer

 

Glad to see another 77 getting saved, Really like your project ! Think you made good call on the hood. Mine looked fine till I touched the underside with a wire wheel...the pics of your door are all but identical to mine...lol. Good luck and keep us posted !

 

Was going to ask too.. motor s V8 or good ole inline 6 ?..

sorry been away from the site for awhile, the cars got a mildly built 302 at the moment, might move up to a 351 one day but the way gas is looking I might be putting a straight 6 back in the car lol

 

Finally got the motor set down in the car. It felt really good to see a big step of progress after a year and a half of what felt like getting done with the car. Now I get to have the fun of running fuel lines and dealing with the spaghetti mess of wiring lol

 

Valve covers are reversed, oil fill should be in driver side.

Hey CopiousGull77, what rear spoiler did you use? Looks really nice. I've been anticipating on using one from an "'80s" firebird, but that one has me second guessing. Looks like the mounts (which are higher up) would be easier to utilize.
