    Hello all,
Well I guess it’s time to start my project thread. I bought this car well over a year ago while I was still stationed in Germany. My best friend pick it up for me and put it to bed in his barn till last month on my return. I have acquired many parts from members before I even put eye on this car. The VIN# is post here and I will get if off the car when I get home to have it updated. Before I get beat up to bad I’ll also post some pics.
    1971 Maverick Grabber / 250-auto
My first order of business it to put disk brakes up front. I bought a full setup from a 1976 Granada to install. My question is can I order a 76-77 non power disk brake line kit from Melvin’s to install without issues?
Thanks for all the members that post there projects and the ones that help me find the car and parts.
    More to follow…

Looks good from what I can see - maybe try resizing your pictures so they come up a bit larger :tiphat:

Ok, I have the Granada brakes and new suspension on the front drivers side. I had to trim the steering stop off the old strut rod. What are my options for a new steering stop?

Well I found out the hard way, you don't trim the steering stop off the strut rod. That's a mustang deal... Now on the hunt for a drivers side strut rod. One step forward two back due to my own mess up..

Got my exhaust manifold off last night. Are they machine fit or is there suppose to be a gasket(250 inline)? Only reason I ask is when I pulled it off there was no gasket and from the looks of it I was the first to ever remove it. Still had the factory bend down bolt keepers on it.

That is a standard 1970-1972 Maverick grill. Not correct for your Grabber....and currently not repopped.

Well it looks brand new, looks as if it has never been installed. Have they ever been repoped or could this be NOS?

Never been repopped so it would have to be NOS
