Showed my wife the pictures and even she likes it and that's coming from someone that still can't understand why I have a Maverick in the garage instead of a Chevelle or a Camaro.

I have changed my mind on the Boss/Brazilian GT stripe on the side. I am finding too many other cars now have it, as well as the new Mustangs and F150's. So I have been playing with fine line tape to come up with something as unique as the rest of the car. Not totally sold on this, but liking the stripe down low.

A few from today with the car outside for a better perspective……

Cool concept Glenn but...IMHO...It makes the side profile look too tall and makes the car look stubby from front to back.
I feel your pain with the ideas...Many I wanted to incorporate into my build have found their way into others concepts...

    Looks great.
I assume you're not actually gonna drive it, 'cuz the first time you hit a dip in the road, that front spoiler is gonna tear the hell out of that front end.

What size rear tires are those?

This will be a driver for sure. But yes, the front needs to come up some.

    Rear tires are 255/55/18's

the low stripe does give a odd look to the height proportions. i have always though a stripe that starts going up at about 1 or 2 inchs from the front of the car then turns 1 or 2 inchs from the top of the fender and goes to the back of the car following the fender line then the door line, intersecting the door handle then kind of following the rear fender bulge and wrapping up over the spoiler some how. their are pics of an orange and silver maverick that has its paint line split similar like this. I think this line would work well with the maverick lines and be different than most any thing out there except for the orange and silver maverick.

ok, I realize that this is far fetched or out of the norm for a Maverick. But in reality what I have done here is very similar to the Mustang stripe shown below that most people like and accept. I think that the stripe helps to visually lower the car. Maybe you guys don't see it the way I do? And of course that is ok. Also, keep in mind, this will be very subtle because of the tone on tone colors I have chosen. It will not be as striking as this Mustang at all.

That Mustang stripe does not extend to the front valance and the rear quarter.
