Please keep updating this thread! I love seeing all the amazing things that you do on this car and it makes me look forward to what I might be able to do to my car one day. You do absolutely fantastic work and I know my self and many others can't wait to see the final product!

This morning I arrived at the booth at 6:45am and starting laying color. I had a couple small spots I touched up and needed to spot them in, then did one full even coat on everything. After that it was time to lay out the stripes. All this took until around 4pm. At that point I called it quits and went home to spend some time with the family. Back at it again first thing to start laying the clear down when I am fresh and rested.

Glad you like it. I know I am not doing what most, or any of you would do to a Maverick if given the chance. Maybe thats the issue, do many people just not like what it is that I am doing on this car?
I'm not trying to be better than anyone, or make my car better than anyone else's. There are some really nice cars on this forum. I'm just trying to build the best car I can, in my spare time with my own two hands. Trans build and upholstery are the only two things I will not have done all by myself in my garage. OK, well the booth isn't in my garage, but you get the point.

I think a lot of folks are looking/watching, that don't comment. I certainly been following. I notice comments on the forum around this time of year seem to slack-off.

I think you are doing an awesome job! There may be a few who don't like what you are doing, but I don't think there can be anyone who can say that you haven't done a beautiful job! Some people keep them originall and some modify. It comes down to your personal choice. I think most people love this car, but like mojo said just like to watch and enjoy.

Glenn what cha talking about I have been watching this build from the start and have even gone back and re read your posts about the car just so I didnt miss anything. I love the care you have taken to do the little items that most people wont even notice and this what sets the car apart from other cars and that is what individuality is about. So please keep us posted on the progress as pretty soon it will be done and I/WE certainly dont want to miss the finale

Let's be honest, what is there that is not to like? I know in a post some time back you mentioned putting some street rod touches in the car but most would never notice. It's going to be a beautiful, well executed build that will get tons of attention. There are things you have done that I would love to include in my build, gauges in particular as well as your lower dash piece. I'm really looking forward to the final product!

    Hey Glenn:
I for one am impressed with your attention to 'Detail' . I especially like the Stripes on the Sealed Cowl area dropping down into the engine bay and also aligning with the HOOD stripes. Innovative and an interesting application to your already 'pristine' efforts. Keep up the good work . I'm sure you have an appreciative audience out here it's just that some aren't as 'vocal' as others. I also think that making your car BETTER is a GOOD THING .. certainly a worthwhile endeavor that most on this forum I think would agree with. Thanks for sharing with the photos .

ok, so I am glad people are watching. That's all I was wondering. I don't look at the post count, or the view count ever so I have no way of gauging the amount people are looking at it. As long as I am not just doing this for my own good, then I am happy.

Everything is now cleared, pics to follow in a few minutes.
