Thanks for the pics Larry, yeah I have that same gap at the top too. I can still raise my CC339 about 3/4" higher without rad cap or shroud hitting the hood. Funny, I was going to get the same 2 row that you have, but the info I got said that both used 3" thick upper/lower tanks, so I just went for the 3 row. Had I known, would have got the 2 row, but everything worked out with the 3 row.
I purchased my rad through Ledfoot Racing and they did all the mods that I requested, if you check out their site, they have pricing for all sorts of different mods that can be done. Thanks again for the pics!

I got mine from Champion, they made all the mods I asked for. I didn't care for the squared off top tank so I had them round mine. They also added the bung for the steam tube for my LSX
swap. great people to deal with...:thumbs2:

...these are two of the 4 rads. I've had them build...

wish I had know they did custom touches when I got mine! I like the looks of yours. I assume you painted it w/ some hi-temp paint.; next time I go in Eastwood will look for something to paint mine the nx time I have to remove it for any reason....
I did the 3 row, 16" Flex-a-Lite fan w/ home fabbed shroud. As I recall the A/C shroud was not a direct bolt on. I believe I mounted the unit in the stock OE location w/o any issues.

Regular engine enamel works fine. It doesn't get that hot.

    4 of them!?!

here is a link to Ledfoots pricing for mods to Champion rads for those who are interested........
    http://www.championradiators.com/Fabrication-and-mods

I think it is more of a rough guide and depends on what mods you would like to have done, how long it takes etc... I had a few mods done on my CC339 to suite my requirements, even came back polished up which I was not expecting! Usually has spray painted aluminum coating, at least that was on my CC340.
