All I can say is make him sign a warranty that it won't fall (or pull out) and make sure it's wrinkle free before you accept it. I am not a professional headliner installer so it takes me a few hours to put one in. But when I finish, it will be wrinkle free. I have seen several liners over the years that I was surprised to find out that a so-called expert put it in. Best of luck with your car.
Any headliner I have ever purchased had lots of excess material that had to be trimmed all the way around. These don't come prefit. There is usually even enough to cover your visors if needed.
No, it was out. Didn't pull out of the windshield or backlight areas, but above the passenger seat, at the B pillar. The rest of the headliner is good. Damn shame I have to replace it, but the install was bad. I guess you get what you pay for!
