Wow I forgot this was getting a coyote motor. Very cool. I like how it looks like the original moulding is used to break up a two tone paint job in the rendering. What colors will the car be painted?

John we have not picked the exact color codes but it will be like the rendering except the sivler bodyline stripe will have all the sponsors logos air brushed in.

Sorry guys not much progress on the car to report. I took some time and did a track day at Pocono with my Foose Mustang and unfortunately we had some weather and that has been on the lift getting cleaned from top to bottom. Then with work I had to go to SEMA for 10 days so I have not had much time for the Maverick. I did take my Son with me so he could experience road racing first hand. Thanks to instructors George and Scott of the DelVal BMW club for giving him the thrill rides.

By the way the Foose car is for sale you guys know anybody interested in a very low millage (7800) ultra rare Foose Super Stallion( 1 of 30 produced). A finder’s fee is available. :thumbs2:

Very nice.................road racing is almost as much fun..........but more intense if you are in the pack..................as drag racing. I've only raced in the Spec Miata SCCA class, but love it.
Totally over the top build on the Maverick..............a far cry from what I had envisioned.

If my budget was bigger I would build mine very similar. Very sweet build and love the cortex suspension.

Well Guys it's been a long layoff and thanks to The Eastwood Co. I have a new toy to test out. They sent me one of their 175amp mig welder and spool gun combos. I have to tell you right out of the box this thing is a welding machine. The setting are true and it weld the same if not better than my more expensive Lincoln Power Mig 180. If you are in the market for a no frills mig welder that just plan works don't shy away from the Eastwood brand the 175 at around $500 is a steal!

With the new Eastwood mig dialed in we constructed the platform of the perimeter chassis. As you can see the main rails are 2x4 and the center structure is 2x2. The 2x2 was used to lower the seating position in turn lowering the center of gravity. I purposely left out some of platform so we can set the engine in place and determine the crank center line and seating position. Once they are established then the rest of the platform and mounts can be installed.

Thanks it's getting here just like yours. When they are done we should meet at Pocono or Evergreen and run a few laps. :D

I spent 24 years building cars for Evergreen and finally got that out of my system - don't know if I want to go back LOL!

Look what showed up on my doorstep today! :yahoo:Thank you Cary at Procharger for the support. This gem should push the Coyote to around that 600hp level. The plan is to slide the engine in the car this week end if we can get the Mustang done and start fabbing up the motor mounts.
