    Impressive stuff.

Might want to watch how much "race car" you build into this. Ultimate Street Car Association released their rules last week and though its not defined, "Race Cars with license plates" are not allowed to compete.

I looked at the rules and should be fine but will be sending pictures to Jimi Day just to make sure.

I'm sure that GT3 Porsche and the Agent 47 Mustang raised some eyebrows. I would even think the ride Tech 33 is questionable.

My 62% inside weight got the rules changed to 58% on this type of car

Im actually wondering if some of those same cars will still qualify now that the rules are more stringent.

Very nice high dollar build engineering involved here!

If that cad software pic above is any indication of your final cage design for this car?.. there will certainly be no issues with it handling "only" 600HP. I see big power turbo street cars every year with FAR less chassis than that and a couple are knocking on the 8 second marks door. You'll surely have plenty of room left for future power growth later on with a 1,000HP chassis design like this one.

And I can't wait to see how your role at Pypes comes into play for the exhaust system.

    Full or partial exhaust system?

    Race-style cutouts too? :bouncy:

Before I start the cage I installed the motor and transmission and squared it in the chassis. This was a big task to get everything to fit and we found out not everything will.

To make adequate clearance for the AC and alternator we shifted the entire assembly 1” to the passenger side of the car. This is a good thing because it will help offset the driver’s weight and make a bigger foot box.

You will also notice I Upgraded the transmission to a Richmond 6 speed. So the 2011 Mustang 6 speed and clutch assembly is for sale if anyone wants to row their modular transplant.

The sad news is unless I find another way to mount the Procharger there is no way it will work. With the small 235 mach up tire in place it hits the blower housing during suspension travel plus there is no room for the inlet tube. The guys at Procharger are working with me to come up with a solution and front mount will not package well is this application.

ooohhhhhh!!!!.. now I'm starting to get jealous.

That's the same trans I plan on going to when I move to an aftermarket block and start getting really serious about power.

    Nice stuff here. :yup:

Ok now that I have the tools, the tubing and the design it’s time to start bending some pipe. Today I was able to get the outline of the cage done which consisted of the main hoop, A-pillar bars, dash bar and mach up the door bars. I’m not 100% sold on the door bars yet so we will see how it looks once more is in place. I can speak volumes for the Bend Tech software it was spot on.

Looking good - did you run any of your upright cage or door bars through the new side frame rails or butt weld them?

I just visited a friend who is in the process of putting together a blown 5.0 Coyote and he just got a front mounted unit from Chris Alston................I don't think this would work with the Procharger...............but sure looked trick.
    Just a thought............??

Once I decide on the door bars I will drill through perimeter rail to anchor the cage to the chassis. I need to slide the case toward the rear for finish welding in the cowl area.

That set up is really trick I didn't know they had one for a Coyote? They do have one for a reverse rotation Procharger but it will be hard to package the radiator fans and intercooler for a Pro touring style car. Drag race no problem but I will need a big radiator.
