Wanting to know if there are any difficulties in removing the head from the block. I never attempted anything like it but I'd figured it would be a great learning experience for me. Would it just be unbolting a few bolts and raise and take or is there more to it?
pretty straight forward. unhook everything (and double check), remove valve cover, remove exhaust manifolds and/or bolts, all hoses/clamps, removes head bolts & pull. reverse above for install
Only difficulty is lifting it off the engine and out of the car, if the engine is still in. Best to have a second set of hands.
