Where's it located in CA? I think in CA these cars cost less than other parts of the country. I'd say you could probably get about $2000 to $3000 for it if it runs good and everything. Great looking car though, very nice.
i agree with Erick if its in cali and your from out of state.. yes you will get more for it... prime example look who qouted 3.5k to 4k and where they live Crystal also remember if your selling it to a cali person i don't think your get more then 2800k, even then thats high. if someone offers you anything over 3k take it and run for the hills! another issue is you'll even have a harder time selling it to california people cuz its a 76 cuz california smog laws suck! and i noticed your tags are almost up for the year.... smog issues maybe...don't wanna deal with them? i know how your fell.... just a though on why you wanna sell it? IMO this would knock off quite a few bucks in my eyes because of the year. if you wanna give it to me.. thats another story... i'll take very good care of it.... the last two women i got a maverick from i told them the same thing... and NOW look at them it could be you too!
I saw that, did not pay any attention until you mentioned it. I never paid attention to that stuff I know what my 70 looks like, I just figured that how they did the later cars
also notice the air duct bezel.. the vents look ford but the bezel does not... differant eh? for sure the car was a non-air car.. look at the switch plate. also never knew they came with that kind of parking brake either... then again never owned anything newer then a 75 sorry Crystal just a bunch of maverick nerd talk!
Yes...those knobs are for dealer installed AC. I have never seen them mounted there next to the radio before. (Sidebar: On an old Maverick I had in college...I mounted a temp guage there. Cut a round hole and mounted it there. Looked factory!!) Usually the dealer installed AC has the knobs as part of the center vent assembly.
