Will a 250 six bellhousing bolt up to a 351w?

Yes, they will. The 250 has the same bellhousing as the 302 and 351. They'll bolt right up. New project??

    Thanks fellas.
Corbin, a guy that just found this board recently contacted me about making a hot rod out of his newly acquired 1972 Comet GT. really great foundation for a hot rod. Factory buckets and floor shift just needs the powertrain gone through and some elbow grease and it'll be a great car.

I never heard of a 250 bell for a 302 or 351. You are going from an inline 6 to a V8. Come guys I find that hard to beleive.

I know, it sounds silly, but it's the truth. The 250 is the "big block" six and it was specifically designed for the 302/351 bellhousing.

From Fordsix.com: "At the rear of the block, the 250 was redesigned to accommodate the same bellhousing pattern as a small block Ford V8. "
