so found out the casting on the engine makes it a 305 and it's a late 1970's truck engine.

The engine mounts are done, I mocked them up to where they should be sitting, just have to weld them to the frame next....

Looking good Mo! Wish I was that far along. You need to start a build thread with pics on RRR. I'm sure you will get lots of compliments!

Been making slow progress the past few days... but it's ok, I'll pick up the pace soon....

took apart the steering box, pretty straight forward, in the near future I will be putting the steering back together with some U-joints to be able to offset it some...

the radiator got worked out well since we had a lot of radiator hose laying around the shop (I gotta replace what I ransacked)...
Bry's idea to mount it close to the shop brackets...worked out well...

the pictures aren't great, but the panhard bar was hitting the top of the diff housing, so I welded on (with a TIG welder, my first functional TIG welded piece) an extra nut to get the heim joint out further and then removed the tab where it was and welded it up higher....
came out decent...or I should say, came out rat roddish!

The driver side door didn't close properly, had to do some hammering and cutting and sanding.....

Hard to see but the latch doesn't fully seat....

I had remove the striker by stripping out the spot welds...

Will need to drill some holes into the clutch pedal to bolt on the pedal pad...

I will be removing the cab occasionally so need the brake pedal to detach easily
