I'd love if someone could show a top down picture of the engine compartment after doing this mod. Curious how much of the chock tower goes and what it looks like. Thanks!!

ALL the shock tower comes out.

Here is a shot without the replacement panels in. I still haven't gotten around to installing mine.

This is sort of a before AND after pic all in one. Passenger side stuff is removed, but haven't started on driver side yet.

Thanks. Those showed me what I wanted to see. On the panel replacements did you just screw it in place or weld??

Also curious how you all determined your frame rail centerline. I see the instructions that came with the product but they do leave a bit to be desired on some topics.

They can be screwed, bolted, or welded. I kinda like having mine out completely. Much easier to access suspension stuff. So when I finally get around to it, I will use nuts and bolts, rather than welding.

I bolted mine on... gives plenty of room for plug change, header install, etc, etc.

I hated the patches they gave with the kit. So I made patterns and had a local fab shop bend me up all new fender wells for much cleaner look.

    This is how mine looks..........

Are you referring to side to side? If so that's easy. Look at both areas below the hinge mount. They are different. I couldn't add the same rolls under the driver side where the break booster will go.

I made the patterns. The fab shop charged me $200 to bend up the panels for me. That includes the material.
