re-chroming bumpers

    Ray! my man...i know you wouldn't do that to me. you are the first guy i met on this forum and I wouldn't even have my stallion if it wasn't for you and Craig. The truth of the matter is I am a long way away from actually needing the bumbers, so you should grab them up. besides, chances are, I will be calling you for parts at some point anyway, so put them on your pretty white stallion and enjoy! :yahoo:

    I paid $250 a bumper for my 71, Maverick. They did a great job. They are located in Highland Park Mich.

    I did this on my car in the mid 90s - they still look good.

    To help the bumpers last I used spray on undercoating on the inside of the bumpers.

    300-350 to have some done for a 64 Fairlane. Also had it straightened and it had some welded holes/patches. Takes 3-4 months though so consider that into your plan and budget. I did my stuff over the winter months so it'd be ready in the spring.
