rear 1/4's filled with water!

    My '70 has rubber drains on the backside of the rear 1/4's.

    Saving up money for a Comet. Again.
    Wow my car never had drain holes, and personally I wouldn't want to drill any though I came damn close with my doors.

    But if you can't find where the leak is & it just keeps on drilling them would be a lot better than having the water rust a hole through :p

    Maybe the drains are something unique to the Maverick that the Comet doesn't have...?

    so i investigated a little further and i do have the rubber plugs on the backside of the quarters but there a little too high uo. if i drained out through those there would still be a little bit of water left under them. my car's covered so im not going to worry about it now,been way too cold out side to play with water but its definatly on my hit list.
