Rear axle question??? help me!!!!

    If you are going to drag race and use slicks. 9" is the only way to go. I had a Mustang with a 302, T-5 and 8" 4.11:1 posi. Slicks and a good launch killed the posi. A 9" with a Detroit Locker is the best way to go. IMO.

    If your running a manual trans, I'd get a 9".

    I agree.Even though I beat mine up and it lived,the 3500 stalled c4 didn't "shock" the rear like a manual will.
