How unusual is this plaque behind the tail lights across the back of my '75 LDO? I love this look. I will need to repaint, so does this come off easily so that it isn't damaged?

I would worry as old as the material is it would rip . I would remove the chrome and paint around it . After you remove the chrome it amy just fall off . Just my 2 cents

It’s glued on, so if it not loose....leave it. The trim bolts on inside the trunk.

replace it with a new piece of vinyl top material (your choice of textures)...use the trim or old piece for a template...:thumbs2:
anyone wanting to add this to their car could get the trim and do the same thing.
