Hi guys, I'm pulling my hair out on rear shocks, I put two people in my back seat and it bottoms out. I do have a 4 door. I was going to get the gabriel load carrier shocks model # 43009 to help with this. Will these shocks break my shock mounts too? they are roughly 2 inches longer than stock shocks, and I really need the extra capacity for weight. thanks!

Replace those weak springs! Springs are what suppose to carry the load -- shocks dampen the ride motion.

You need springs...Shocks do not support vehicle weight...

If you need springs to carry lot of weight, check "General Springs, Olathe, KS.,they have 4 leaf springs that will carry anything a Maverick was designed to carry. They will also lift the rear of the car over where it sits now. They also, have a stiff ride as far as I am concerned. I have them on my car but had to remove the bottom leaf -- rode to stiff for me. Others have them and don't have a problem w/ the ride quality. General has a website...
