So I saw a few post about rear sway bars for our mavericks, is there a link to a site for the company that makes them? I'm interested in buying one. I have a 75 mav
Here's both front and rear as a combo: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-1969-19...Parts_Accessories&hash=item27ee2e5197&vxp=mtr
Not a "huge" difference, but there is a difference. It counter-balances oversteer that the addition of a rear bar could increase.
If you want a bigger front or rear have Carolina swaybar make them Send your stock ones in and tell them what diameter you desire A one off from tjem will be cheaper then a group buy though addco..
Maybe not what you'd call "huge" all on its own.. but add the two bars together and the difference will be all that and much more. Sway bars are the single biggest bang for the buck you can do for a soft stock suspension.
But how do I send in a rear one if I don't have one?.. mine didn't come with it stock (I don't think any of them did)
You will want to research past posts pertaining to this. Someone had a photo of one side pulling out of the rear clip. Whomever it was created a bracket/sleeve to fit over the clip, thus strengthening it. He said it made quite a difference.
