So i'm planning to update the wiring under the hood to my 73 Maverick and had a question about relays. I'm planning on adding relays to the 1) Low Beams, 2) High Beams, 3) Electric Radiator Fan, 4) Audio. Are there any other electrics that I should wire into relay, i.e. ignition/coil, brake lights etc? The above 4 I listed seem to be the only ones I can think of that would mainly benefit and I want to only have to make one order for parts. Thanks for any help!

I think you just about have all the things mentioned, all that's needed, cept if you run a ignition coil that needs 12 volts.

I'm running one of the Ready to Run MSD Distributor with a MSD Blaster 2 coil, which is a 12v coil.

Then you do need 12V to that coil. It wouldn't hurt to put in a relay, however, I don't know if it is really necessary to have a relay.

In my '72, I added the Mustang dual hi/lo horn set on a relay and trigger it with the horn wire.

I got this relays from a mid 80's Dodge Caravan. The bracket keeps things together and only 2 holes to drill instead of 5.
