For a lot of years I ran 70 Mustang high-back buckets in my 70 Mav. Now I have aftermarket Fox-body buckets but use the old 70 Mustang rails. I had the old Mustangs seats out several times to weld cracks in the sheetmetal frames (from my fat a$$, no doubt). The newer seats have tubular frames and are stronger, helps when you weigh around 270 like me.
