Easy task to do. You'll enjoy it. Not electrical or tuneable so can't mess this one up... can you? :p j/k

Use some care when you unbolt the shocks. When they are fully extended the springs may still be compressed some. Then when you reinstall the shocks, if you have to jack up the axle just do the minimum. Don't unload the jackstands and get things unstable.

Have you verified that the eyes are the correct size?

These springs have been hard to come by since soon after I got mine from JC Whitney. Right after I got mine, they went on backorder, then all of a sudden nobody carried them anymore.

Then the ones that did go out had the wrong sized eye on the end of the spring. So before you get too deep into the project, make sure the eye is the same size.

Otherwise, jack the car up by the frame with jack stands, and use your jack to support one side of the axle at a time while you replace the stuff. Not too difficult.

ok folks, here is an update. all done and installed. took it to Bryant's shop and I'm verrrrry glad I did. That was some tedious work, I was sweating from just watching. Bryant removed the U bolts, the shackles and we dropped one side at a time. The tough part was getting the old bushings off, we used a drill bit to cut them up. They went it pretty easily though. Here is a picture of the ride height:

    here is before:

    and here is after:

it's already dropped some, gonna wait and see how much it drops. it's a better ride quality and no more hitting the tires all the time.
