    Glass bead them first and paint will stick just fine. Still got them headers though. Sorta takes away from the factory look.

    I thought I saw in a brochure somewhere that optional factory headers were available .... :D

    Looks good! I agree on painting the pulleys black. I would leave the headers alone.

    I'm about to send you a PM on that radiator. That's one of the main things thats holding me up right now with getting the '69.5 road worthy.

    I just read that dropping aluminum in TSP (TriSodium Phosphate) and Water will etch the aluminum fairly quickly and have it ready for paint. Might have to try it ...

    Dan, now that you're almost done with all this numbers-matching restoration stuff you can take some pictures ..... then yank it all out, shave the shock towers, drop in a 408 w/5-speed, add a cage, a hood scoop like Pinky's (I mean John's), 9" w/slicks out back, ....
