    I did the same thing to mine. Looks great Craig. I ended up painting mine with that gold cadium paint from Eastwood. It is not factory but it is clean and matches the other light housings that I painted the same color. It is better than splatter paint or rust.

    did you do anything to the inside?
    on mine i painted the inside with "chrome" paint...frank...:bouncy:

    Inside was nice....no need to paint. 100% natural finish inside and out.

    I painted the inside of mine with the "Chrome" paint ,then installed 2057 bulbs as taught by 71gold .
    It really made the tail lights brighter (SAFER)(y)
