yeah no air shocks....that is just the cheap add-a-leaf from autozone. Following the direction I tried to set them just a little lower than the end result.
yep...always got to have a little rake I do not like the look with these wheels...but I am doing the 5 lug swap and changing wheels the look will be just about right trying to give it about the same stance as PINKY.
Hottie, I think what John is trying to say is that he is a little old man that needs to be re-arched from years of sunday driving in the fast lane because hes been touched, is that right John? Really, the rear shock mounts are really just the floor pan, while you can run them, and people have, it puts undue stress on that sheet metal. There have been cases where that area has given out, then you have to replace that whole part of the floor or patch it. It is just not a good way to go, IMO.
http://mmb.maverick.to/showthread.php?t=26948 check this thread to see how 15 by 8's and 15 by 6s in front, looks like with original rear and original 200 cyl springs with a v8 in it.
Was there a photographer? That would mean there were three of you there...they call that a threesome. I'm begining to wonder about who the real "pinky" is:evilsmile
I had air shocks on my '71 Grabber way back when and pushed the upper shock mounts through the sheet metal pan. A friend fabricated and welded in a rectangular tube cross member but I ditched the air shocks anyway.
