    Can you weld the steel after using Rust mort?

    Clean the metal well and it shouldn't be an issue. You should also check and make sure you won't be creating any nasty gasses that would be poisonous.

    If you are treating the rust with Rustmort.......then that metal is too thin to weld to anyways due to the rust. Cut out ALL the rust.
