my car is getting the blitz black paint job so I figure I'll just paint them the same color. I like the the painted bumper look. Alot cheaper than re-chroming too. I'm just painting everything except the window trim and windshield trim black. Tail lights will probably stay that silverish color too. Can't decide whether to paint the door handles black or leave them chrome. Any Idea how much it costs to have a chrome shop remove the chrome?
Call around and see, they just dip them. then you can finish them properly before you paint your car, and not have to worry about the paint coming off, or other issues. Bare metal is bare metal. On Black cars, painted black bumpers look awesome!
