    Ray,
It's a pretty basic build 10:1, 30 over 302, I reworked the stock heads, Perf RPM, 750 DP, solid lifter cam, Comp roller tip rockers, shorty headers thru V-Force mufflers. I use a 4 spd, 9" with 4:11 gears, slapper bars, and 26x9-15 Hoosier drag slicks. The car has ran a best of 11.676 @ 114.75 w/o mufflers, and 11.769 @ 114.03 thru the mufflers weighing just under 3100 lbs. I plan on racing at all the Good-Guys events which include Sonoma, Pomona, Seattle and Bakersfield. I hope if any site members attend they will come by and say hi!

Maybe I'll make it to the good guys event in Seattle. I wonder if the 4 speed is making the big difference or if your car is just plain set up better than mine. Three tenths faster with what seems like a milder mill. Cool. Hope we meet this summer.
I have yet to make a pass on 26" tires though. 28's seemed too big to me last year. Maybe that'll get me there.

The transmission is an area I put a lot of thought. It's a 3:10 first gear Saginaw that I personally modified. Ya I know a Saginaw, but they have the gear ratio and they're cheap!
