Second annual Arizona Desert Mavericks meet

Did anyone tell our California friends about this? (Specifically Bryant and Mo?)

 

Does anyone know how to get in touch with Purple? I saw him at the last central cruise, but didn't get a chance to talk to him. I can't remember what I did with his number either.

 

I think that Matt was going to join us as well. (Hey Don or Robbie, got a way to contact Matt Bong?)

 

Matt asked me how long we are going to be there, I think He has something going on during the day. I didnt hear back from him after that. I think I sent Purple a PM but he dosnt get on here very often. I didnt personally tell the Ca. guys, but Im sure they could have seen this post. Dont think they would brive all the way out here just for a small meet at a pizza place.

 

I just messaged both of them. Are we still going to Speedworld afterwards? Sounded like that was the plan. That's why I thought they'd be interested.

mo got his and asked me if im interested. i am, just gota check with the wife and so does the freshly married mo. it looks like their is a good chance we will come out, do the pizza thing then head to the track and do the 1/4 mile thing.

 

Matt and I chatted quite a bit at Speedworld on Saturday but he will not be able to make it. I won't be able to go to Speedworld as I already have other plans...bummer.

 

Just for curiosity I checked the speedworld web site about this Saturday nights' racing...STREET TIRE PREP only! I tried to do some test and tune once with street tire prep and even with my lowly six and drag radials I couldn't hook up...just sayin.

 

Yeah but they are having a race earlier in the day (Tony will be racing at that one, all slick cars) and I was thinking we could make it out before all the street guys muck it up.

BTW, the post cancelling from Cometlady73 was from me. I didn't realize that I was on using Ruth's name.

 

I really want to go but we didn't quite finish up our project this weekend and I need to finish getting my maverick prepped for paint. Hopefully since I graduate in December I will be able to make the next one as I wont be juggling work and class.
