I have stumbled upon a couple, got pics of some of them!

This was a Grandfather/Grand daughter project car that the man picked up on the side of the road for $600. He showed up right behind me in a car show that goes on every friday, I used to go every weekend and was shocked to see him pulling up. He stepped out and realized that he was parked behind another Maverick. Great conversations! He had put over 10K into the car.:thumbs2:

yeah those are truck wheels on it. But they do look good. Great capture out in the wild. An "out in the wild" pic forum would be cool.

And the last one I got pictures of (That i can find) was at an Old Chicago restaurant when my Girlfriend and I went to dinner one night. She was not happy that we stood in the cold because I wanted to snap a few pictures. :p

That explains why none showed up to Car d' Alene care show...
Thanks for showing what my car could look like if I was crazy enough to pain it yellow again. (y)

Not too much of a mystery. That is Mick's Comet. He had it at the MCCI Roundup Nationals in Dearborn last summer. He also just recently attented the MCCI Michigan State Mini-Meet. I am sure he will have it back to the Roundup Nationals next month in Dearborn.

A couple of old friends spotted today

Our good friends from Palmerton, Pa. Jean & Dale Doll spotted today at a car show not too far from their home. The Dolls had their beautiful red 77 out for a day in the sun. The bonus was the other 3 Mavericks that were there were also all redone by the Dolls over the years All great looking cars :thumbs2:

Saw this one at a repair shop near my house, owner nowhere in sight. He is fixing it up, getting all the things done to make it safe and run well. Hope to see him around later.

A nice show today just south of Hazleton Pennsylvania. I've now met up with Jean and Dale Doll twice in two weeks. I was lucky to find them twice in one or two years. 2 more Mavericks were also there that the Dolls painted and restored. I'm so impressed with their work, I'm having Dale run me up a quote for my Hugger Orange paint job and that gives me the incentive to get back to work. Jean's red 77 is in the last photo to the right :D

I saw this Comet in Brazil on the 31st of May 2012.

It was at a stop light @ 12;10 He probably works in the area & was going to lunch.

    It sounded mean. :thumbs2:
