Guess I'm having a hard time seeing how the market in Canada has anything to with what he could get out of it in Oregon. I'd just put it up for sale "$4500, open to reasonable offers"
Thanks for the input, guys. I knew it was the case when I built her, cause my goal was a rat rod-exterior with a well-built, fresh, new mechanical innards and a kick ass interior, but I'm still sad that the only thing holding her down from a good price is a paint job. I suppose I might as well put her up for sale for what I think she's worth (7-8k) and seeing if someone picks her up, in the meantime save up for a scuff and shoot...
I agree with this 100% The way I read this is that your not saying that you can't keep it. Just put it away if you can and come back to it when done with that important part of your life. Because again when you are done you will be wishing you had it back and never sold it. We have all heard it and some of us have said it. "Man I wish I would have never sold that car" And also it is done the way you wanted it. So later on you never find something that was done like what you had. So there for if you want another you got to start all over and it will cost more again.
*sigh* You're right, this is good advice. I'll keep it in mind. I'd just hate to stall on school cause of my money guzzling beauty queen...
DO NOT STALL ON SCHOOL!!! If you stall.....you will never go back. I have seen it happen time and time again. It is just a car....but your education is WAY more important.
Thanks Mat, and your right Craig. I did say it but just didn't bold it was I said if you can. I guess your not being real clear if you got to sell it and use the money to go to school or not. But if you can just put it away and not put anymore in it, and then start putting all your money into school is what i meant.
