    A friend of mine built this....It started life as a 1968 VW beetle.

    Powered by a mild 460, with a huge draw through turbo. The car sees occasional drag strip used and is driven hundreds of miles to area car shows.

    How is ole Walt Knock theese day Steve?
    I found his shop while on a job in inkster back in 99.
    Didnt know he was from Michigan till then. According to Walt, his car was the most feared of all the east coast cars in its day.He sure loves to chat about the old days. Gotta bring my dad down there sometime.

    That really sucks. Did he retire or what? **** that place was so COOL. Walking in that place was like stepping back in time. Wanted to get my dad down there.:mad::cry:

    Yeah, I remember when he had Walt's Puffer III in there, I have a picture for about a decade ago of me next to it. There is a pull barn behind it that is rumored to have a bunch of his cars in it.
