Serpentine belt

hmm i'll have to check my system out, can someone post some pictures or links to good alternator mounting braket kits? i think thats my problem as i had to fabricate a bracket.

 

You can get them off of JEGS and Summit, fancy billet ones...

 

yeah could someone link the right p/n for the car? and does it matter what kind of waterpump do i have?

 

Summit SME-2002 for $65. Supposed to fit all 289-302. Notice it has many extra parts so you mix and match to use the ones that fit your application (I guess...)

 

There is also the March Brand, a little more pricey at $99...mch-30025 in summit

 

This would interfere with the Blower snout.

 

Well, what do you need more...A blower, or an alternator

yup, I chose "blower" also

 

If you use the 80's Crown Vic setup, the whole right side of the engine is freed up for anything you choose to mount there. Two blowers anyone?
