Setting the valves question

    I ran the wet and dry compression and there was improvement the second time around after putting some Marvel oil stuff in and letting it sit for a couple of days. I was able to get the car up to about 25 but it still ran like crap. Mainly acceleration. I would give it gas and it wanted to die out.

    When was the last time it had a tune up or a carb rebuild it might not all be because of the #5 piston

    The carb was rebuilt within the last three months. Timing has not been checked due to the fact that I can't find the timing notch.

    What about plugs, wires, cap , rotor ,and points *if it takes points ?
