I made a post ealrier but my computer was acting crazy and I see it didn't post

The paint is called a "factory pack" IIRC.
Comes with everything you would need for your paint to spray it.
You can only get basic colors.... red, blue, white, etc... nothing metallic i dont think, and no pearls.
I think you can get them at Oreillys that sells paints also.
I'll check with the guy again to get the official "name of it"

I know several guys who have used this method and are very happy with it

$300? Paint and materials cost more than that. My friend with a body shop did the paint and bodywork on my Mav. It cost me $3000 and he had it a year, squeezing it in between the more profitable insurance jobs. And that was 10 years ago.

Lets see in 1993 I painted "The Bad Mav" Grabber blue Single stage with some mild rust repairs. 2k. I got what I paid for. It was fair but as I transform the "Badmav" in the "War Machine" I will be upping the ante. I am learning to paint so I dont have to pay 3-5k. That's the qoutes I am getting this time around.

That is a well spent $300.00 I would have no complaints and owe the guy a favor.

That looks really good, especially for the price.

I was talking to a guy to do my bodywork, and finishing touches, and we were talking about 6-9 MONTHS of my car in his possession. I found that reasonable.

If I did it myself and took my time to do it right, I was looking at counting YEARS, not months. So if an "expert" was doing it and it took just under a year, I would think I would be getting a good job done on it.
