Should I paint underneath the hood?

  1. Paint it to match the car, with metalflake and high gloss

I will probably do the entire engine bay the same as the bottom of the hood. But probably without any metalflake and just a thin clear coat for easy wipe downs after spills under the hood.

Not spill, so much as just knock it over... :D

I am starting to lean toward matching the entire engine bay. Lots of good points, about the engine "standing out" better.

I will pay attention to some of the cars at the Waco meet, see what looks better.

Careful with "Drinking and Wrenching", that stuff can get you in trouble... you might end up putting 26" wheels on it with a flat screen monitor in the trunk, and your underhood may be some kind of leopard print flame thing with bass boat glitter on it, if you're sippin' on a 'foty (40 ouncer).:drink: :drink: :drink:

The best place to knock it over is below your nose.

Why do you say that like it is a bad thing?

Oh, 40 OUNCES...THAT is what "a forty" means...Now that I know that, I feel this strong desire to try one :D
