Now you see the reason I got rid of the sidepipes. It had to be restricted from a 3" header outlet, down to a 1.5" tube to do the S-curve, then back up to the 2.5" inlet of the side pipes. My muffler guy couldn't do a 2.5" tube into an S-curve in that short of distance. I didn't want to restrict my exhaust in the middle down to 1.5". As shown in the picture presented by rthomas.
