I shopped around and that sort of surgery is around $600 locally with labor, gaskets and all. I wouldn't do that in my yard. I figure that if I'm going to do it I may as well add the 4bbl intake and headers while they're in there. I guess when I have about a grand to do it I'll go for it. My engine has never been opened, I can tell. I want it to be done professionally when it finally happens. That way if it's wrong I know who to call to fix it.
sounds good, and looks great a cam swap is very easy, if i did it when i was 16 then you'll have no problem with it
Oh I can do it but I have nowhere to do it. My yard is sand and I'd really hate to get a grain of sand on my cam...besides, when someone else does it I have them to blame if it breaks. LittleT you should come for a visit, I have another place for us to go...
I need to find a place that will install a set for me without costing me an arm and a leg. I thing they'd look sweet on my mav.
Very nice, I'll be doing this to mine as soon as possible. But, I'm even more impressed by the SLAYER sticker on your rear window...SWEET!
Every car I buy gets a Slayer decal on it. My Ranchero 500 had Obituary decals on the front quarters and Slayer o the rear glass.
Hey guys. let's keep the terminology kid and grandkid friendly. If you wouldn't want your 7 year old to say it to his/her teacher, don't post it here.
