I'd like to see more pics of the red Comet?

That Dyno Don Maverick is well travelled. I have
seen it at 3 shows in the past couple of yrs.
It really is in need of a resto. Nice piece of
    history.

    Thanks,
    Seth

Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
looks like lots of hard work went into that one. but what was under the hood? to win best modified it must have had something killer in it? just please dont tell me it was a chevy :D

also did that red one have a 6 cyl in it... i noticed that shelby maverick hood cowl for the I6.. anything intresting in that one.

Yes, they were. About 5 or 6 Comet / Mavericks that showed were part of the CAMEO club. Nice group of people. CAMEO club is based out of Sanford, Florida, about a half hour from where I live.

Most of the hard work was body and interior modifications. Under the hood could have used some extra detailing. It appeared that they spent most of their time on the appearance of the car, instead of the engine and engine compartment. The rest of the car might have looked like a Pontiac Chevy, but it was still a Ford under the hood. As far as the red one goes, it was a Comet with, I believe, a 351 ci.

nice pics part-time. i haven't gotten mine developed yet. hey litttle red toy--- the red comet belongs to the head of cameo and if i remember right a big block with full independent front suspention. BADDD car. nice to behold. the blue one next to his also is his. he had 3 or 4 there.
the engine in the green car was a ford though i can't remember what size. i did get some pics of it. i will get part-time to help me download them since my computer doesn't listen to me very well. that car was really well done but in my opinion was waaaayyy over the top. it almost wasn't a mav anymore. the owner owns a custom car shop in daytona area somewhere. he built it for his wife.
good meeting everyone. sorry we missed you crissy. part-time and i had a good time hanging out. don't forget there is a show coming up at waterford lakes here in orlando. i know part-time, myself, and i think 289mav are going.

Man now I am really mad I didn't get to go. I heard about the all ford show and planned on going but got called into work that morning. Still haven't seen a Maverick since moving to Gainesville FL back in November. Those looked like some very cool cars.
