no, I'm not building my own tranny(I got people for that) and I'm pretty sure this engine would puke out a 500 horse c4 in short order. I can get a c6 built to take it for about a third of what a c4 will run, at comparable power levels. I would consider changing my mind if someone can show me examples of high horse, high torque cars with the c4 lasting. I dont like to redo things any more than I have too.and by lasting I dont mean a couple of dozen runs.
I guess I ought to clarify, I'm not talking about a small block in mine either. I figured that was a "known" ,sorry if it mislead since this started as a small block c6 thread
a large herd....... I dont like to say numbers anymore,..it seems to stir up the likes of John Ford and Stephen Moore, they get all nervous for some reason and start acting paranoid.
who's acting paranoid just tell me the freakin' numbers.....why won't you tell me * I already know....well I have a good gestimation
Ahh... is it for a driver or racer? Just Ive seen C4s built for a reasonable price hold that much power Either way... C6 IS more durable if both are built with the "same" kit I thought you were running a SB also, my fault.
I personally havent seen any reasonably(to my pocket) priced c4s that hold the power level I'm looking at.
How much are they running you, just curious.... Im kinda biases cuz I know a guy that can build em strong cheap
lol cant pass up a good deal.. I know have a "clue" to what his power level is... and I wouldnt suggest a C4 behind it... I thought he was running 5 or 600 horse..
probley at like 600rpm i know whats comin, blah blah blah 4 digits blah blah blah B9 made more than 500 from the factory
