smoking/screaming tires...

    the Pep boys 275x60x15s I had would smoke but no screech...
    my Cooper Cobras 255x60x15s I have will screech but no smoke...
    any suggestion for a...smoking/screeching tire...:drive:...:chirp:
    or is this a one or the other thing?

    Frank I think it is a one or the other thing and then through in the road surface materials, TAs smoke pretty good also. I know at the dragstrip when I do a burn out the tires smoke at first and then when I let off they screech but that with slicks. Never have tried drag radials

    Remember when Tony gets on it with Lemonade he doesnt even leave rubber, no smoke and no screech

    I have the 275/60 R 15 Cooper Cobras now. But , my car is in metal prep right now. I could squeal wheels with the cooper performance tires. They were 235/65R14 . Now they are discontinued.

    Lol frank. This video was done way back when on almost bald tiger paw tires they wouldn’t screech but would leave good solid tracks and moderate smoke when moving as in video, but could still crowd please if brake standing

    I don’t care about smoke or screech. All I want is grip! My 347 spins the tires all through first, and second. I’m running BF Goodrich TA’s.
