Would you spend 20k-25k for his car? It's not even a real race car or legal to drive on the street. I know how much money and labor I have invested in my Maverick and its around half that much

lol.. that's an easy one. About half of what the Maverick was worth. :biglaugh:

I tease.. I've got nothing against Pinto's. At least as long one isn't being rearended next to me in traffic anyways. :dancing:

hehe.. I could easily get carried away with Pinto jokes.. so I'll stop teasing now. :tiphat:

its not legal for the street with no side marker lights, no mufflers, and no front bumper.

Streamliners car is registered in NY state...This means it has to pass a safety inspection. If its registered/insured and driven in NY, it passed a safety insp. Ergo...The apparent lack of a bumper/marker lights does not make it illegal in NY to drive on the streets. Yes, we can get away with a few things in NY on occasion.

I still would value the car at 25K minimum...

Yep, no cop around here cares about crap like that..

My car may not have a front bumper or marker lights but it does have a fire system, roll bar, wrap around race seats, better brakes, fuel cell and 5 point safety harnesses, to me, a good trade off

...And the inspection stations, they just scan the barcode on the windshield registration sticker to make sure the thing is registered and collect the fee....They check nothing.

As long as you're not an ******* laying rubber from stoplight to stoplight the cops leave you alone and for the most part respect the cars

lol.. and even if it did.. you'd be downgrading from what you ended up here on yours if you copied it anyways.

Course.. some Gurney/Weslake heads certainly wouldn't be an unwelcome addition. lol :D

That was a very enjoyable 11 minutes. I love the car and I think you hit it out of the park with its theme.

Good luck with the sale of the car.
