Terry, first of all thanks for posting the pics. Really am impressed with your car. First rate work too. I have a tip for you. When I did my small bumper swap on mine last year, I had my bumper low like yours. I had the car in the air and did not realize that you could not see the valance bolts from when the car is on the ground and you are standing, or behind it in another car. I was really uspet as to the fit of my bumper. I started looking at pics of small bumper mavs, and even posted some measurement inquiries from the board here. I would take a pic of mine, but my rear bumper is off right now as I am doing some paint work on the car. What I am trying to say is, some people on the board alerted me that the stock fit of the small bumper is not on a line with the real valance curve. Keep us updated with the nice pics too, your car is really outstanding and I hope to see it live and in person one day.

Dan, thank you very much for that info, I will raise the bumper and see if I can get the right fitment.
I would love to have this bumper to fit right, I was thinking that the mounts were wrong or the bumper was just made too small. Thanks again Dan, I'll have to take a side pix so you can see my SWEET sub-frame connectors.

Rick, I think someone else here on the site has done the cougar light mod and posted some photo's. Good luck on the mod, I found mine to be fairly easy but like everthing else I played with it before I got it just right.
    Cougar lights

Tim, I will be at VMP unless it's calling for 100% chance of rain all weekend. Last year I was the only Maverick/Comet there besides a superpro car, I even made a post about how sad I was to see no other cars like ours. Well this year you sure change that with the mini-meet, my hat is off to you for your advance planning.

I hope we can all park together because myself and the other people I race with will be staying at the park overnight (got my motorhome) and we can keep a eye on everyone else's car and personal things.
Not that I've ever had a problem there but last year a bad rain/wind storm came in and did some damage to one of the venders setup, this left his product out in the open and some people there thought it was X-mas.
I'll e-mail Bill and see if he can set us with some parking, if not
I'll be there when the gates opens on Friday and can save some good spots close to the electric-water hookups.
I look forward to the meet and I'll try and drag KillerComet along with me.

Thanks for the picture of the plate, I used to have them on my car when it was on the road but had to give them back to DMV because the tags had good stickers on them when the car became all drag.

    Thanks again to everyone!

    Hey Terry
Go right ahead and E-mail Bill and try to get a definite spot on the parking and let me know. I have only been there once so I am not real familiar with the layout. I dont know how many folks are planning on coming but I hope for a good showing. Thanks for your help . I came up your way in sept and bought a bike for the wife from a fella in New Market. He lived right beside the entrance to Hidden Caverns. I forgot his name. Thats a beautiful area up there:clap: . Let me know if Bill replys to you with a good answer about the parking.Once again the Mav looks great:bananaman

Looks good. I know it's too late now because it is painted but since the valance is welded to the quarters you could have welded the screw holes to the rear panel and smoothed the whole thing out.

Folks say those headers need some 'modding' to fit in a Maverick.
Have you done all your modding?
I hope so now that you have Jet-Hotted.
    Great looking car!
