Ratio411, the pic of the red car is Tim from Somerset Ky. and what you are seeing is an optical illusion, it is just like the orange one only taller. It doesn't hang over the sides any more than the orange one like it looks. I was always under the impression that the wings were identical only the the mounting legs were different, 69-70 tall, 71-73 short.

Not only the legs were different heights.

Look at some Stang pics and compare.
    The differences were:

    *Shorter legs (as pointed out)
    *Legs are further apart.
*The version with legs further apart is narrower overall.

I don't recall exactly, it's been years since I have had 2 side by side, but IIRC the 71-73 was narrower overall with legs further apart.
Forgive me if I have it backwards, but I am going from first hand measuring of spoilers right in front of myself... just was 15+ years ago.

    Edit:
I am not convinced I am right on the closer stands being narrower... Ignore my details and just know that mounting widths, overall widths, and stand height varies by year and model.

    Also, stands can be swapped.
You could have a 71 wing of a different width, and put tall Cyclone stands under it, giving you a unique fit.
Dealing with a 40 year old part, you could have mismatches like that.

I myself had a 71 wing without stands that I sold to a guy with unknown stands and no wing, to use on his Mopar (puke).
He did it, but I have no idea what that wing and stand combo would be correct for if it was eBay'd today, 20 years after the mismatch!
