I am going to look at a 72 sprint car is there anything on the vin that will confirm it is a real sprint?
Nothin in the vin identifies a Sprint. The only way besides a Marti report is the data tag in the door jamb. A Sprint will have RB for a trim code.
If this car is in Canada and has a Canadian DSO...it will probably have a Canadian sticker on the rear quarter instead of a USA sticker.
There was a REALLY NICE one for sale in Alberta a year or so ago, and it had a rear spoiler and Grabber hood, painted up with the Sprint stripes. It looked nice! I would think there wouldn't be too many Canadian-DSO Sprints... would love to see pictures when you look at it!
Looked at the car today very nice, 4 speed big block top loader and 9" shortened rear end with disk brakes. The interior has been changed to black with bucket seats very good looking car also has chin spoiler and comet scoop on hood.i will post a pic soon
