Started on Painted Magnum 500 Restoration

    Sorry...not true. Even though I too feel that the painted w/ trim ring wheels should not be called Magnum 500s, Ford apoparently did not feel the same.
    I bought a 1978 LTD-II 'Sport' brand new, and the window sticker showed 'Magnum 500s' as the wheel package, not 'styled steel wheels'. They were 14"x7", painted black w. silver spokes, and came with the wide trim rings.

    By the way, Eastwood makes a great tape-template package for repainting Magnums. WAY easier than any other method I have used.
