    I have a 75 comet with a 302. It is a work in progress
So my starter shorted out and fried all of the fusible links as well as the starter solenoid. I replaced all the links, solenoid and starter. The car won't turn over when I turn the key. I know the batter is good and the starter is good (crossed the solenoid). Is there a signal wire that goes from the ignition to the solenoid? Are there any fuses or links I may have missed? Has anyone else had a similar issue?? Thank you!

Yes there's a signal wire from the ignition switch...it hooks to the " S" terminal on the solenoid ( the one closest to the big battery terminal) it should have 12v on it when you turn key....you can jump across bat term and this term with key in the run position I see if it starts and runs then you'll know to look at the starting wire ....I had similar issue with mine intermittently not starting that turned out to be a worn ignition switch on the column behind dash NOT the key switch ..good luck
