    Update, number whatever....

The car is at the shop and I spent some time with the body man today helping do some more prep. Completion of the paint is hopefully late next week. One change is that it'll be a black & white now, black front & rear clips and white doors and roof. I changed my mind about all white. I stopped at the body supply and bought the black paint and some more little stuff. $150 went real quick! The door shields came in UPS today, though I didn't see them yet. Joy called me at the body shop on the Nextel. They are gold multi-point stars and say "METROPOLITAN POLICE" and have the Pennsylvania state seal in the center. I'll take the camera with me tomorrow. More body work before real work tomorrow!

Oh, yeah...if all goes well, the unveiling will be moved up to October 2 in York, PA. There is a meet of police vehicles at the Police Heritage Museum there, classic and current. I'm not counting on this one, but I still have intentions of Fairfax.
