All I know is, speaking from experience, a prank war between the wrong two people will become an arms race, and it will escalate until one guy is getting shot with blanks and the guy who did that gets a large, unplanned tattoo.

those kind of actions on personal prop should encourage your school to put up some cameras.show them proof and file police reports everytime.

Our student parking lot is like a pennisula surrounded by woods and a football field. its about 100 yards from the nearest light pole or camera from the school. But i have asked around i have a good idea about whos been doing it. We have 3 different lunch periods at school. a b and c. That means there is a whole 110 minutes where people are in the parking lot with too much time on their hands. So, im a hunter, i love hunting, so much that i have a trail cam. So im gonna put the trail cam up on a tree and park in front of it. Then ill know whos been touching my car. Also, its camo so no one will see it. (i hope)

That actually happened to me in highschool and to this day NO ONE will tell me who put the BBs down the carb of my less than a month old rebuilt 351 Windsor. All my friends know I would still track them down and inflict serious bodily harm on them with the possibility of most of it being permanant!

Honestly I would go with the idea of using a hidden camera and then turning them in.

Do Not get into a prank war with a vehicle involved no matter how tempting it is!

Water balloons at 50 paces is one thing, but taking the chance of severely injuring an innocent bystander by a prank going too far is too much of a risk to take!!! They're only messing with your exhaust right now, but it could be cut or crushed brake lines or the trans being in gear when you start the car down the road!!

I've seen the aftermath of both of those things happening at a place I worked at and it wasn't pretty. The car being in gear almost got a co-worker run over and after the brake line prank caused an accident involving my truck and 3 other cars being hit in the parking lot when their car wouldn't stop, both pranksters involved got fired from their job AND got criminal records following them for the rest of their lives out of it.

Trust me, if the police didn't get there before I found out what actually happened, BOTH of them would have had hospital bills to pay too!!! Well, that and my boss sending me into his office to get something for him and then parking the fork lift in front of the door so I couldn't get out.

Unfortunately this is a thing you can't remedy without either possibly causing harm or putting up with some mischief.
Setting up a camera is a good idea. No need to hide it. Putting it on the package shelf in plain view could be a good deterrent.
In the mean time, make some fruit salad?

Eh, kinda yes and no... People who are too young to know any better think it's a classic, (High schoolers?) and that tells me it's pretty much inevitable that it will be commonly considered such at some point. I remember when a lot of old cars considered classics today used to be parts cars, and I'm only 32.

Definitely sound advice to apply. A "cute" joke may cost another his/her life; not something one would want on his/her/their conscience for the rest of mortality.

Consider his/her/their lack of maturity. If you exhibit no emotion to these, "stunts/pranks," he/she/they will become bored in not spurring a rise from you and find someone else to antagonize.

I would have to agree with the screen. Have a nice mesh screen welded inside the pipe so nothing can go in.
